@Skynet :

Muslims always seem to figure out who they think is the " strong horse", as the saying goes.

And they are wise, to a point, in doing so.

All pretenses of following democracy has fallen away. Now, it is about who is noisier, who wants to win with violence more, and who is going to make sure they never give in to what the average voter wants. It is about the elite controlling and the authoritarians serving their interests.

Unless the American public wakes up and stops voting for the Emperor? The USA is going to be lost as a democracy. It will spiral into chaos and civil war. The rest of the world is going to keep going and there will be multipolarity in power groups. No more hegemony. That ship has sailed. Or will sail soon.

We have already had two assassination attempts on Trump, and the first one missed by inches. He will be despised by millions of people, including some who might own an assault rifle or two. We have plenty of AR-15s and crazy, violent people in our country.

If he is brutal enough, would you be that surprised if there is another assassination attempt on him?

I heard yesterday that there are 300,000 Pureto Rican registered voters in PA. I don't know whether that's true. But that would be more than enough to flip the state to Harris. One Puerto Rican guy said he voted early for Trump, but after the "floating garbage" statement with no apology from Trump, he is going around telling everyone to vote for Harris. The word is out.

The only Puerto Ricans eligible to vote are the ones who are registered voters in the USA. My husband is an island Puerto Rican but has lived in the states for decades. We moved to Mexico. You can still vote in Mexico. But only 8% of American citizens vote outside the USA. Most do not bother to vote if they live outside the fifty states.

I vote through this organization VoteFromAbroad.org. You then have to register through your local county and clerk and recorder in your election commission. You use the last known address in the USA. But it can be tricky. You go and ask for an email ballot. You then find it in your state....mine is coloradosos.gov. You check that you are an overseas voter. Do not say you are military. Very important. Then you vote on the sample ballot. The sample ballot has your state's issues on there. Mine had Harris and Walz first, Trump second, and so on Jill Stein was also on there. Colorado is not a swing state. It is a solid blue. So if it is not a tight election you might consider the lesser of two evils vote. If it is a wing state or a solid red state that never changes you should vote your conscience. Anyway, there is a second thing called the Affidavit thing. You have to handwrite or handsign that by using a camera. The safe bet is to download the ballot and sleeve affidavit and sign and date it all carefully. For failing to sign that thing your vote is discarded. You download and print. You then scan it in and upload it and send it in via email as an attachment.

You also do a follow up email to the Election County Clerk and Recorder Commission people. I got an electoral judge stating a confirmation of my vote. If anything is not perfectly executed the vote is spoiled. You do not get a second chance via email. So be very sure before sending the scanned documents in that you did the thing. They match your signature to all your previous votes. If you are a first time voter? Again. Do it carefully.

My husband does it in Spanish. His ballot is often badly translated so he has no idea what the ballot measure is supposed to be about. You have your English version next to it on the screen. If you suck at both English and Spanish you had to request it in your native language a long time before.

Or you have someone orally read it out to you. And vote and send.

It is a effort. But that is what politics is about. No efforts. No win.

Honestly I always facepalm by this when somebody from Russia or former Yugoslavia or from Balkans or whatever you get the point says something like this.

I know this is a quite a large insult in your circles and apologise for that but right now you are no different from some kind of Muslim immigrant that comes to US or Europe and then protesting after some time and wanting Sharia law or whatever. Even worse about this is those Muslim immigrants that come to Europe or US are probably not that well educated compared to former Yugoslavians or Russians so this makes it much, much worse.

Well I guess it is what it is. :knife:

"Pennsylvania’s Latino eligible voter population has more than doubled since 2000 from 206,000 to 620,000 in 2023, according to U.S. Census Bureau figures. The population in cities like Allentown and Reading is now more than half Hispanic, with a majority being of Puerto Rican descent and a sizable portion of Dominican origin."

https://www.abc27.com/pennsylvania/how- ... nsylvania/

So there are about 620,000 eligible Latino voters in PA. What I heard yesterday, is that, of those 620,000, there are about 300,000 registered Puerto Ricans. I HOPE that is correct, but have not been able to confirm. I searched around the internet. If true, it could have huge impact here at the end of the campaigns.

Yes, Hakeer there are a lot of Penn voters who are Puerto Ricans. A lot of Latino voters from other groups who are US citizens and registered in the state of Pennsylvania to vote. But many may be leaning Trump. Why? I already told you how they think. A lot of really uneducated voters in the USA. Tons of people who never studied a damn thing making decisions based on Trump falsehoods and thoughts that Harris is the same as a Communist. LOL. Stupid people with political science. They do not know much.

The Dominicans have to be naturalized citizens. Or born in the USA of Dominican parents. The naturalized citizens can vote. The permanent or temporary residents of Dominican origins can't vote. Period.

For the Pennsylvania voters who live in other countries and want to vote but do not intend to return to Pennsylvania and live in Mexico, Canada, Europe, Africa, etc. can be a federal voter.

Here it is:

https://www.pa.gov/en/agencies/vote/vot ... oters.html

There are different types of overseas voters.
Different rules, options, and deadlines apply depending on which kind of overseas voter you are. What are the different types of voters covered here?

Voters in the armed services who are stationed abroad or in an area outside of their precinct;
Individuals registered to vote in Pennsylvania but who reside overseas; and
So-called “federal voters," who live overseas and are not registered to vote in the Commonwealth and, therefore, may only participate in elections for federal offices (President, Vice President, U.S. Senator, and Representative in Congress).

How do I know if I'm an “overseas civilian voter" or a “federal voter"?
The key difference between an overseas civilian voter and a federal voter is whether or not the voter plans to return to live in Pennsylvania. For example, a person studying or working abroad, but who considers Pennsylvania their home and plans to return to Pennsylvania sometime after their academic term or employment ends, is an overseas voter who may register in the Commonwealth. A Pennsylvanian who has left and made their new home in another country is a federal voter.

If you are born in Puerto Rico and live in Puerto Rico full time and never registered in a mainland state or Hawaii or Alaska either, you will not be allowed to vote. At all. Again, island Puerto Ricans only can vote in local elections for governor and mayor of their towns and cities etc. local votes. They are excluded from being federal voters. Puerto Ricans are also not allowed to renounce their citizenship. Since it is a one way street US Congress thing, they can't renounce it like Tina Turner did to get Swiss citizenship to cut her tax burden. Not allowed. Prisoner of the US congress folks. The sad part is that if you become a Puerto Rican citizen you are not allowed a local vote, a federal vote, or to get citizenship with another nation either. You are stateless. Completely stateless. They do this to make sure you are forced into letting the US keep Puerto Rico as a possession. Think about this unfair shitty situation. If they do this with us? What kind of dirty tricks do they do with other countries' democratic processes? they are liars and hypocritical fakers. Most US voters are INGORANT of all the dirty moves the US Federal system does in many places. Get educated people. Do not remain with the ignorant dumb stuff. It serves no one.

Angel Cintron is chair of GOP in PA. He says he will not vote for Trump, unless Trump apologizes about “floating garbage” and his own rally speech about U.S. as “garbage can”.

Puerto Ricans (in FL) voted 68% for Biden in 2020. They are going to vote at least 70% for Harris IMO. I just want this “garbage” talk to drive them to the polls. Latino men will vote for Trump — they can stay home!

What they need to do is become an independent nation with habitual residency and a transition.

I find it outrageous how many of you non Puerto Ricans never know a damn thing about what happens with the unincorporated territories.

It sickens me Hakeer. How many Americans like you are....who think they know what happens in their own system of voting, federal immigration etc. laws and regulations and they have NO CLUE.

All of it is in an information black out. Yet they think the US government is a good actor on the world stage. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It is not.

And many Puerto Ricans need to vote against all RACISTS. Which means a lot of people in the USA. Do not think the fascist leaning people are about being white. It is about being fascistic in political thought. When you dig deep into why someone votes a certain way? It is not about gender, or color of their skin or ethnic group. It is about what sounds like truth to them. And fascism attracts fascist thinkers. Of all groups that are about different cultures and languages and histories. What makes them one is that they are fascists. Their great unifier is fascism. The bundle of sticks that together are hard to break. Authoritarian and purists and intolerant and violent and abusive. How I think these people are so horrible. No compassion, empahty or real tolerance. It is all their way or the highway and burn the entire society down rather than share power with those they deem inferior. Horrific people.

Again, in Italy there are far Right people and hardcore Communists, etc. what do they have in common politically? Nothing.

In the USA you have corrupt politics.

Hakeer let us say Harris wins? The SCOTUS is infected with far Right partisan justices. That is reality. Harris is going to be pressured hard in 2028. The threat is not going to go away.

If Trump wins and he is offed? Vance takes over. He is a lot worse in the sense of being much younger, energetic and a more focused educated lawyer fascist.

The threat is the entire political philosophy. And if you know those people? Like I know them? They are willing to burn down their own nation rather than share power with the inferior races, liberals, Jews, Gays and the whole cadre of undesirables.

It is the end of the Republic unless there is some aggressive moves to keep them in check. And the Democrats are sellouts and cave in. The Republicans are willing to kill and murder for power. Are the Democrats going to do that kind of horrible hate shit the Republicans want to do? That is the question?

I agree. Even if Trump loses, the fight against the fascists isn’t over. I have been a Democrat my whole life and I know what my party has DONE in this country, and it’s not fascism. This will be a long fight, but for today beating Trump is the next battle in the war. Puerto Ricans, as a group, are going to be on the right side.

Juan Dalmau needs to be the governor and the island needs to do everything on its own. Go back to growing our own food, Renewable energy, and start to open our schools and rebuild our communities. Get rid of these bootlicking corrupt people who are puppets of stateside bankers and corrupt politicians.

It is a long haul. The big unifier is that all of the political parties in Puerto Rico do not like racists and do not like thinking about an island that is English speaking. It needs to pull away.

Because the US is useless right now. They can't get rid of their own problematic violent people. And that party is willing to say nasty and racist things about Latinos, Blacks, Gays, Puerto Ricans, Jews, Muslims, etc. A litany of hate.

They need to prepare for ugliness.

That is reality.

Maybe all the Puerto Ricans who agree with you will stay on the island, the others will continue to migrate to the U.S., and your group will eventually have what you want.

It is not entirely unlike young Native Americans who choose to stay on tribal lands or move to the city for better educational/employment opportunities.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is going out West to campaign with Harris. Puerto Ricans are going ape-shit over all of Trump’s damn “garbage” talk.

No, Hakeer, all of the Puerto Ricans need to agree to put their differences aside and cooperate for a better future for all on the island and on the mainland.

The pro statehood Puerto Ricans that I know of? Do not want to live in the USA. They want Puerto Rico to integrate for political and economic reasons and live in the fantasy that they can keep their language, history and culture intact and just get more money. History says the opposite. Displacement a la Hawaiian Natives.

Puertorriqueños living in poverty and being pressured out to live in ghettos in the USA. The best lands going to some rich tax dodgers. Losing the land and losing it all to some Paul Logan types.

Another Bianca Graulau video about that:

The voting is non binding.

Another vote.

That goes nowhere.

How long is that going to continue before there is violence? You tell me Hakeer?

I live in Mexico. I intend to become a double citizen. US citizenship and Mexican citizenship.

I am tired of the waiting around to get full political rights. Mexico lets me vote quickly and the US if I live in my home culture denies it for 126 years.

So who is more democracy oriented? You tell me?

They can go ape shit about voting all the want Hakeer. But? Does it translate into new voters and registrations and getting their momentum to vote against Trump. A lot of people are too lazy to do the paperwork involved in being new voters. Many Puerto Ricans who reside in the mainland like my husband are super haters of voting in English.

Lazy in the extreme. They get Spanish ballots in friendly counties but many just do not even stock Spanish ballots.

It is strange. Just do it I say. Do not wait around. But indifference kills democracy faster than the Jesus Rifles mentioned in Georgia recently.

Anger is a good motivator. They have same-day registration in PA, so maybe some Puerto Ricans who weren’t planning to vote are mad enough about being called “garbage” that they will show up and vote. They are getting pressure from friends and relatives. This thing is on fire!

I hope it makes a difference.

I do not hold my breath.

I think the problem Hakeer is that you are not getting rid of these foolish people voting for Trump. He can be a felon. He can be a sexual assault convicted dude. He can be caught talking to Putin, commenting about his daughter's body like a pervert. Talking about Arnold Palmer's penis being big. He can say racist crap. Use bad vulgar language. The Christian Evangelists do not abandon him.

He can do whatever and they still follow him. I tell you Hakeer, I think if he continues on....and wins? Anti Christ. 666. Damian Omen III. I tell you....it is the only explanation.  :D
