Greenpeace using a fossil-fueled generator at Rio+20 - Politics Forum.org | PoFo

Wandering the information superhighway, he came upon the last refuge of civilization, PoFo, the only forum on the internet ...

For importunate arguments and postings imponderable to virtually all forum members. Though their authors might believe the only problem is everyone else's impercipience.

It seems that Greenpeace has tried to make all their stands rely solely on "eco-friendly" solar panels during Rio+20, but guess what? Too much people, too much power consumption and... power went off. On the left side of the picture you can see greenpeace "activists" starting a fossil-fueled generator which will produce a very heavy carbon footprint and lots of smoke.

Of course we should embrace "sustainable ways" of living and fight pollution, but we should be very careful about extremist ways of doing so, otherwise it may happen to us (and to our countries) what has happened to Greenpeace: a blackout.
