Kflint, I have thought about writing books. My only problem is... I need to work for a living, and don't have a lot of free time to pursue my writing - which I'd love to do.

Stating the obvious has now become an attack. At the moment my publications are mostly white papers.

But, I will have two Novels out later this year. (Or early next year) I will be happy to direct you to the website for them, when they are ready to go out.



The first is a spy type genre: I started a thread with a small preview.

This is the cover I am going with, though some slight changes may be made.





The other is a Historical Fiction/Nonfiction that takes place during the American Revolution. It follows Captain Samuel Flint, (A relative of mine) from the first call of the Lexington alarm to the last battle of Saratoga.

The ones I work with are Create Space and LuLu. Both are good. I would suggest just using them to publish, as any of their other packets are way to expensive.


Maker sure you buy your own ISBN from R.R. Bowker, NOT from either site.

I am working on a site that brings people in the field together. It is a forum based concept, one that allows Authors, agents, publishers, editors, artists and others to meet and collaborate. I am also setting up a few in house services like editing and the such, the only difference is, with the in house services you get the publishers logo.

An E-Book can go out to kindles and the such, and you make 70% to 90% royalties, depending on your set up. (& you get to set your own price.)

So, I suppose the difference is, one makes you money and the other does not, unless of course your making a living on your blog...
