You can investigate Israeli actions as much as you want but don't pretend you are being impartial, that your inquiry has much validity or that you are a big defender of human rights if you refuse to investigate the crimes allegedly committed by all actors.
Likewise, don't pretend you have no racially-motivated bias if you refuse to investigate alleged crimes against a population based on ethnorreligious identity of the alleged victims. If you want a shred of credibility about your claims of being a defender of human rights, then you'd better support investigating crimes against everyone without discriminating their ethnorreligious origin.
Of course, once you do this all this narrative you are trying to push is heavily undermined.
