The partition plan was a complete joke in terms of impartiality. This is surely objective fact. Forty five percent of the inhabitants of the Israeli part were Arab. Eighty nine percent of the land was Muslim owned. It was totally Gerry-mandered to give Israel contiguous territory. Most of the its territory must have been majority Arab. In fact, did the majority of its land area in the South have any Jews to speak of living there at all? The Jewish state was totally non-viable. Surely who ever designed it intended the Zionists to ethnically cleanse their part.

Yet none of the governments of the Great powers the US, the Soviet Union, Britain or France could be said to run by raving Jew lovers or Arab haters. America in 47 was not like America now. So how on earth did this plan ever come into existence let along get passed by the UN?
