Spotted owls can only live in old-growth forests. If we cut down the old-growth forests then the owls will have no habitat. Thus all the owls would die. Cutting down the forest is the reason why the owls are endangered

No no no, due to the logging the owls are slowly dying, had there never been any logging this would not have happened. So the owls are dying due to the fact we logged there years ago and not because natural reasons

GOP is right that the main reason the spotted owl is dying is because of the new barred owl. Stopping the logging didn't protect it, but, of course, the protection of the forest from loggers still has positive effects. The problem is that two species cannot live in the same niche (competitive exclusion principle, I think). But I would rather have heard it from a source other than Fox News. How about this one? I don't know it's politics, but I'll assume it's center left because it seems that from GOP's testimony most media in Washington state is center left.

I live in Washington State if you look in the location. Because of Liberals and their eviromentalism. My state has lost 1,000s of jobs because of them. Im suprise Logging is still surviving here. Even though I still see more Canadian wood than Washington wood at my local Hardwear store.

I picked FOX news because I heard it first from FOX that also all Seattle News Papers are libeal.
