These clinics are funded by a combination of Federal and state funds. I know they do good things because for 8 years I was an auditor for San Diego County and I audited their claims for government funding. I went to their clinic locations to audit their accounting records. They treated me twice for minor illnesses. Lots of indigent people were well cared for there.

If the system works, it would make sense to expand the system.

Why not have all hospitals and clinics be free for all citizens?
