@skinster

Why should I cry?

I don't believe children should be taking puberty blockers.

But what confuses me is, if these drugs are so bad and the side effects life-threatening, why are they commonly prescribed to delay puberty in children who experience early puberty?

@skinster

Do you think?

It's just that, usually, with non-life-threatening conditions, commonly prescribed drugs, if properly managed, are not a danger to patients.

First of all , rather than referring to a source that is simply hard right propaganda , like seriously what sort of "Communist" are you really, one should research from qualified professional medical sites, such as this , which I shall excerpt from.
Lupron® is a brand of leuprolide. This synthetic hormone treats symptoms of prostate cancer, early-onset puberty and other hormone-related conditions. This medicine comes as an injection that a healthcare provider will teach you how to safely inject into your body... This medicine is for injection under the skin or into a muscle. You will be taught how to prepare and give this medicine. Use exactly as directed. Take your medicine at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.

It is important that you put your used needles and syringes in a special sharps container. Do not put them in a trash can. If you do not have a sharps container, call your pharmacist or healthcare provider to get one.

A special MedGuide will be given to you by the pharmacist with each prescription and refill. Be sure to read this information carefully each time.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this medicine may be prescribed for children as young as 8 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.... Visit your doctor or health care professional for regular checks on your progress. During the first week, your symptoms may get worse, but then will improve as you continue your treatment. You may get hot flashes, increased bone pain, increased difficulty passing urine, or an aggravation of nerve symptoms. Discuss these effects with your doctor or health care professional, some of them may improve with continued use of this medicine.

Female patients may experience a menstrual cycle or spotting during the first 2 months of therapy with this medicine. If this continues, contact your doctor or health care professional.

This medicine may increase blood sugar. Ask your healthcare provider if changes in diet or medicines are needed if you have diabetes.... Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:

allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
breathing problems
chest pain
depression or memory disorders
pain in your legs or groin
pain at site where injected
severe headache
signs and symptoms of high blood sugar such as being more thirsty or hungry or having to urinate more than normal. You may also feel very tired or have blurry vision
swelling of the feet and legs
visual changes
vomiting
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):

breast swelling or tenderness
decrease in sex drive or performance
diarrhea
hot flashes
loss of appetite
muscle, joint, or bone pains
nausea
redness or irritation at site where injected
skin problems or acne
This list may not describe all possible side effects. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/drugs/18166-leuprolide-injection
So the repressive religious reactionary right not only is trying to interfere with the administration of gender affirming care, but also even with cancer treatment. If I have said it once , I will say it again, politicians are not physicians, and politics should be kept out of medicine.

@Deutschmania WTF is wrong with you? That's not right wing propaganda! That's common sense and facts.

Whenever facts are presented to ideologues of gender identity, it's "Transphobia" or "propaganda". Look at all sides, as I have, before dumping your brains out and going with the self delusion cult.

The site is a right-wing propaganda channel , that has an obvious agenda . As to facts , the fact is that gender and even sex is not necessarily tied to chromosomes . I have critically evaluated the issue , in addition to having online friends who are trans . And one's gender , pertaining to the innermost being , and one's sex , pertaining to the outer form , do not necessarily coincide . For example , what of these women who were born with male DNA ? Is their feminine gender identity invalidated by their Y chromosomes ? I believe that each person can determine what their own gender is better than some outside observer online .

@Deutschmania The rare exception(1 in a 100,000) does not make the rule. You know that, though. Don't be a fool/tool for your cult. Biology matters. Sex IS tied to your chromosomes and the exception doesn't change the reality.

Synonymous
(of a word or phrase) having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word or phrase in the same language.

You're an ideologue. Of course you'll dispute everything. It is semantics unless you're delusional as the cult you believe in.
#15313956
False, @Pants-of-dog You, among others who ignores the actual biology and science for your gender identity ideology of delusion. You are the Dunning-Kruger Effect made manifest.

You pretend that the extremely rare cases make normal biology non-existent. Gender studies are made by people who ignore the actual science and biology of human beings. It's a cult of ideology and you're a cultist.

Gender and race, strangely enough, are both social BS that have nothing to do with science or biology, so you're only proving my point.
