It has been demonstrated that allowing private enterprise to sponsor stadiums and mass transit systems, they are allowed to participate in the public sphere in exchange for private support of the public sphere.
Since government is the ultimate public sphere, why not give private corporations the same possibility of openly naming governments or having branches of government/political figures named for themselves?
Couldn't the General Motors White House help Exxon President Obama to pay reduce the Pepsi Max debt?
* of course, these corporations wouldn't be allowed to alter rules or laws. just to fund the operation of government.
