Low birth rates are NOT a problem. Unless we find a second planet to exploit, low birth rates are instead solving an obvious problem.
And "few kids" ? Theres friggin 140 million people in Russia. I think we'll have to wait a couple centuries before they actually die out. Frankly Germans (also very low birthrates here, and boy do we treat our children poorly in this country) for example would die out first.
There was a global Baby Boom after WW2. That's creating a problem since the Boomers had fewer kids.
But the difficulty that will create varies wildly. People want to come here, not many want to live in Russia. Like I said, there will be a global bidding war for talent. We will be competitive,
but Russia will have trouble, a lot of trouble.
Germany will also have trouble, they will need a lot of people; but they can afford the expense better, and it's a much better place to live than Russia. Much, much better..
