It was bad, accept it. I liked the movies but the music bothered me all the way thru the first 2 parts, then I somehow adapted I guess.

The Oceans 11 score fits the movie perfectly, but as music it isn't that good. The songs sound too repetitive(once again) and synthetic when played without the action on the screen. "Caravan" is ok, but very it's a very traditional version, and of course there is the hit song Little more action(can't remember if that is the title) by Elvis Presley. Otherwise it's a worthless record and I regret buying it.

I like jazz though, so everything else sounds repetitive to me.

The Republican Party wrote:The battle and end theme of Gladiator with the lady chanting in some language(maybe Latin) over the low brass. This is the greatest music.

Now We Are Free
By Enya, in the soundtrack with compositions by (surprise surprise) Hans Zimmer yet again.

1. Royal Tenenbaums
2. Donnie Darko
3. Requiem for a Dream

(incidentally the LOTR soundtrack is the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, at least in the second film. They just re-recorded the same music with major additions and subtractions of other themes.)

Although his movies do not technically have music scores I love Quentin Tarintino's use of popular music in his films. Especially in Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Yep. This was extremely pathetic, and is why i don't like the LOTR series.

Yuor just rejecting the soundtrack to LOTR because it was acclaimed as a good movie therefore you being an "elite artist" cannot like anything to do with the movie. Personally I loved the LOTR soundtrack and bought the CD from the Fellowship of the Ring.

I think LOTR had some masterful cinematography in it, but unfortunately the sound track let it down. (As did the lack of story line - but there again, you can't blame the movie makers for that!)

Yeah, he was a penis. When he entered the book, a weak story line just got so much weaker. Tolkien should be slapped for that. In fact, he should just be slapped for writing such a crap book and causing generations of children to misunderstand the word 'literature'.

Lord of the Rings was terrible. The directing was pedestrian, acting horrible, storyline full of holes, cinemetography was god awful (how many times can we look at scenes of mountains spinning around), graphics were absolutley some of the worst I've ever seen (horribly fake and inconsistant, a terrible use of CGI over all). In fact, the only half decent character and actor was Borimir- and they killed him off. The soundtrack was repetitive and unoriginal.

In conclusion, Lord of the Rings sucked.

Does anyone have the official LOTR song not the requiem for a dream song that everyone thinks is the LOTR song but the real actual LOTR song because I can't find it anywhere.

Ok....lets clarify something here....The Requiem for a Dream THEME from the movie was used in the LOTR The Two Towers Trailer, not in the actual film. The Music composed in the film was original score by Howard Shore...All they did for the trailer was take the Requiuem for a Dream theme and modify it for the trailer, made it more upbeat. It us an awsume tune....great beat...action packed... Anyway, if you want to get the theme from the trailer, go to Kazza and type in "LOTR The Two Towers Trialer Music" or something of that sort...you are bound to get it.

Oh, and Mr. Bill.....You said that LOTR sucked....did we see the same LOTR? cause I don't remember it being that bad.... I don't consider LOTR to be like that...I consider Jackass the Movie to be like that...You obviously had your eyes closed throughout the entire 3 films...

Lord of the rings just reminded me or Star Wars episode one- over all, there was only a single feature that was any good (pod racing scene/Borimir). Absolutley everything else about those movies sucked. So, just replicated LOTRs 1 for the next two movies and remove Borimir. There you have it- crap.

Well, there was ONE good scene in Lord of the Rings three:

The one were they do the death ride against that town, and it just cuts out after they draw swords. An ok scene over all. So there you have it folks- out of three ridiculously long movies you've got TWO half decent concepts: one scene and one character.
