I have no idea where this goes but here's a poem I wrote about war. It's not necessarily about the war with Iraq...just war in general.
"War Games"
They said they'd die
Than give up and cry
Fighting war machines
Raging bloody scenes
Since it's all in goodwill
It's okay if we kill
Make up lies about rebuilding
And feeding the children
But how is it fine
To tear off limbs with a mine
Crush children's hopes and dreams
Fill'em with terrorising memories
To them you are no hero
You are nothing but a big fat zero
Shooting their dad
Because he got a little too mad
Imagine him taking your house
And forcing YOU to crouch
With a gun to your head
One move and you're dead
All these people dying
Blood dripping down and babies crying
We watch it all on TV
The war's so far from you and me
When will we wake up
Have all these fights stop and break up
Everyone will hold hands
Make a big peace sign across the land
But alas we are not like that
We always have to fight back
An eye for an eye
It just doesn't matter who dies
