For Baudrillard and Lyotard, Renee Girard had high regard
While Guattari and Gilles Deleuze have Searle and Dennett unamused
We all align with Wittgenstein in our linguistic paradigms
And apropos Michel Foucault, Noam Chomsky had made quite a show

And may we say in retrospect, that Feyerabend was correct
If Quine could make our meanings whole and Kant's critique of Judgment holds
And Nietzsche's “death of God” remains an academic's old refrain
Qua Hegel's end of history, for Derrida's a mystery

Then who among us won't rejoice at Samuel Beckett's take on Joyce?
And may I say, dear board review, that Heidegger would follow you
In finding Sartre amateur and not worth his diameter
For Husserl did more than that, and now Latour is where it's at

And so I say in summing up and as my time is running up
That you reviewers sure are smart for knowing all these names by heart
I know that you will all agree that all these names reflect on me
So if you are of finer taste, you'll publish it with utmost haste
