I don't know, I'm not sure what make and model ambulances are. Ok, a little google search and I have found out that Chevy does not make ambulances.

Ambulances are just modified vans. The one in the photo is a GMC van modified to be able to carry a horizontal body and two attendants and their equipment.

It's very similar to the geneology of the SUV - a modified truck that can carry a plastic bottle of water, a cell phone, and a 300 pound chartered accountant from suburbia.

Except for the "luxury" models, which have no chassis.

They ride on the chassis of the less luxurious "sporty" classes.
