Merriam Webster's definition of Christian (as an adjective): "of or relating to Jesus Christ or the religion based on his teachings."
Wherever or not Marcion's
interpretation of Jesus Christ and his teachings is accurate is neither here nor there (though it would probably make for an interesting topic once the group is formed).
I don't see how something loses a right to be considered Christian, in a general sense, just because
at this present time most other Christians reject it. If the Church of England saw a massive loss of membership, overnight, would the remaining Anglicans cease to considered Christian?
None of the scholarship on Marcionism, that I've come across, has spurned the use of Christian as a descriptor, in the general sense.
I notice, however, that you haven't raised this issue with anyone else on the membership list.
