Eauz wrote:Why specifically Marxist-Leninist? Why can't Left-Nationalists with Marxist-Leninist-Maoist thought join?

A positive point is that you don't exclude communists from your list.

Ronald Reagan wrote:"How do you tell a Communist?
Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin.
And how do you tell an anti-Communist?
It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin."

Though I suppose that should be a different issue entirely.

I think that is worded as "Marxism-Leninism Mao Zedong thought", right? Much like how there's "Marxism-Leninism Ho Chi Minh Thought".

Both of those are acceptable, of course. It's meant in the widest possible way.

Indeed, the list is not about "people Rei Murasame always gets along with". I expect that most of the people that join will not always agree with each other, much less me.

Fasces wrote:I'm a Zionist.

Oh, I almost forgot, that explains everything. Well, while I strongly disagree with you on that position (I think that one day PFLP should overrun the whole place! etc), you are - as of now - of course allowed to join. It's not about what I think, and it will become less about what I think as the number of members increases.

Rainbow Crow wrote:Can Republicans join? I'm a capitalist but I'm not liberal

You are a liberal-capitalist and a clerical-reactionary, so don't even try.

No its not,the far righters just need to follow the logical trend and condemn the nazis while going after the scape goat of the 21st century ie muslims

I cannot control what anyone chooses to say in this group, though. However, my view of it, is that most of the people who join this group would be sympathetic to Arab nationalists/socialists, so long as they are not clerical-reactionaries.

Oh, well, nothing says that they can't believe that. Basically the rules and criteria are exactly what is written in the opening post. There are no catches, no hidden requirements and no unspoken restrictions.

This is a user group, and despite the name, it is not supposed to actually resemble real mechanics of a party in any way at all. As long as someone is actually within the criteria (and not bluffing or trolling), they can join. When enough people are in, a leader would be chosen (and it may not necessarily be me), and so on.

You would then have access to the group that has been created and it would appear in your profile as "Popular Front of the Third Position" in the appropriate drop-down list.

But the beauty of what im saying is that the two need each other tojustify their repressive military regimes. And don't write off the republican, they will be your base when the poor rise up and the sane business withdraw funds to avoid uber crony capitalism. Just dwhat allrepressive shitholes do andplay lipservice to faith while actively undermining.Myfinal piece of advice is todropthe term fascist alltogther and use bullshit slogan like Justice and OrderAlliance or anything safe sounding like defense, knights of...or some national symbol/movement of yesteryear.

Well, you are misunderstanding what a user group is about, Frylock. It is not about what would or would not happen under any specific ideology on that list. It is only for the purpose of having a user group that includes all 'third position' ideologies (as drawn up in the opening post) while excluding all ideologies that do not fit that designation.

If somehow Vietnamese socialists and Bolivarian socialists turn up and join PFTP, they can, and it is entirely intentional that they would be able to join (in fact, there used to be two Vietnamese socialists that visited PoFo sometime last year, but they are unfortunately gone now). That list in the opening post is drawn up that way on purpose, and without any intent of there being any kind of ulterior motive.

I believe supporters of the AKP and Erdogan would fall somewhere between clerical reactionaries and liberals, Istanbuller.

Count me in. (Am I too late?)

While I'm not much of a nationalist (a country is a country - it is not sacred), I despise neoliberalism and all forms of clericalism - basically, the current world order. I have a materialist understanding of history... what else? That seems to be it.

Seems you found yourself on the wrong end of the political spectrum, Doomhammer. Consider the left!
