Kushwant Singh, extraordinary author, diplomat, enfant terrible and journalist, 1915 - 2014.

I have been reading his books since the nineties and his death, even at the age of 99, saddens me.

For those who don't know, his most famous works are on Indian Partition. He was active till last year, writing for various newspaper.
